Location: Garden State Parkway around 40 mile mark, NJ
Shape: Fireball
Duration:10 minutes
Multiple bright red lights hovering in sky with military follow up.

I was driving south bound on the garden state parkway when I saw three bright red lights very low to the ground. I pulled over immediately to get a better look believing they where the lights on the wing of a plane that was going to crash due to of how low they where flying in contrast to the tree line. I noticed immediately the lights where not coming from a plane, instead were three individual large glowing red crafts. With in the matter of two minutes at least 20 cars had pulled over to observe this phenomenon.

The objects remained stationery for 2-3 minutes, there was no sound and they left at a high speed in a triangular formation. Almost immediately after they left three more appeared from behind the tree line repeated the same action and left in the same manner. This happened once more with two more craft. The lights where appearing from the west and moved east counter to the direction of the wind. The night was clear and partly cloudy. I was with my fiancé at the time, now my wife, unfortunately she is visually impaired and was unable to see the phenomenon well, however the craft were hovering so low to the ground she was able to see the light from them.

Upon returning to my home, I called the local police and was instructed to call the local air force base (177th air nation guard) and I left a detailed voice mail.

I was also instructed by a friend to call the UFO reporting center Hotline and left a voice mail there also.

Early the next morning I visited by two men in suits who claimed to be from the air force.

They took asked all about what happened, then strongly suggested that I keep quiet about my sighting.
