Four small flaming objects silently flying toward the north west.

I walked out my front door and looked up into the sky around 10:30PM. There were 3 small red flaming objects moving toward the northwest flying over my house. They were all moving together but did not appear to be a single object.

I opened the door and told my wife to come and see the objects. She came out the door and saw two of them and a fourth one that came flying in the same direction following the other 3. Neither my wife nor I heard any plane or motor sound as they passed overhead.

They appeared to be very low in the sky like they were flying about twice as high as the nearby tree tops. As they moved off in the distance, They did not fade away as expected, but one by one just disappeared as if they were being turned off.
