A red fire-ball shot across, low in the sky and then disappeared instantly.

Very large and clear, low in the sky, but too high to be fireworks, too low and quiet to be a plane.

Too low to have been a falling star.

Glowing, red fire ball shot across the sky and then faded out instantly.
