Duration: 30 minutes
No of observers: 3

Location: Hallsville, OH, USA

Shape: Triangle
Characteristics: Lights on object

Low flying "star" seen hovering around Tar Hollow Forest. ~11pm on most clear nights.

While gazing at the stars by a campfire around ten thirty at night myself and two others noticed this object roughly a mile or so off in the horizon. It appeared similar to a well lit Venus. (Meaning slightly larger and brighter than your average star in the sky).

But this object was much lower in the horizon than any other star and it was moving in a straight path towards us.

It slowed down almost to a stop for several seconds overtop us and our campfire, which is when we learned of its shape and the two red blinking lights. One on each" wing"and a single white/yellow solid light on the mid to frontal section, quite large and bright giving it the appearance of a star in the sky.

Also, we heard a very faint hum coming from the object. Not soon after losing sight of the first object, we spotted a second object coming from a different area but displaying similar characteristics to the first. And after the second passed out of sight, a third wa! s seen coming from a different location in the sky.

These objects have become regularly seen between 10 pm and midnight on clear nights.but

On a regular night I havent seen many past midnight. One other detail I have noticed is most if not all objects observed around midnight are travelling in a northward direction. But then earlier in the night, the more random their direction of travel seems to be.
