Red light traveling at extreme speed.

I was sitting in my backyard in my hot tub with my headphones on, i was watching the sky to the north, at the right time i saw a point of red light, it was traveling in a straight line from east to west about 2/3 above the horizon,it looked like it could have three red points like a triangle, but it was hard to tell, as it was traveling about 4000 miles an hour, i am only estimating the speed because it took only 3 seconds to cross the sky, it did not skip on the atmosphere, it did not flicker, it stayed the same brightness and it was red, i believe it was a flying object, definately not a meteor.
