Orange beams in the sky and when it disappeared a "V" shaped lighting bolt struck it; I-65 S, N of Ft. Wayne and north of Indianapolis.

I was traveling from Michigan to Alabama and somewhere around exit 333 on I-65 I saw a really bright beam of orange light with a very bright orange-red glow.

As soon as the beam of light disappeared a "V" shaped lighting bolt hit the ground exactly where the center of the beam was.

About an hour and a half later before I got into Indianapolis (still off I 65 S), I saw more orange beams with the bright glows.

The first beam of light I saw north of Ft. Wayne was by far the weirdest and brightest.
