Myself and a friend was traveling north on whittle springs roads. As we approach the stop at the corner of edgewood. We both notice this "craft" in the sky right over the intersection. It was triangle in shape and massive in size.

It was very close to the ground..I would guess maybe 400 yards. It was so close and so massive I could see the detail i the ship. It did not look like it was made of metal, It look more like it was made of some sort of stone and had hieroglyphic type symbols on the base with round bright lights underneath them.

My friend stops the car as we both have our head out the windows observing, I would guess the whole incident lasted about 1 min. Hard to say because it was almost like we was under a trance as we look but was prob just in shock.

I remember we pulled into the parking lot about 30 feet away to get out of the car and the "ship" started to move very slowly heading east. I never seen the ship fly off though, it moved east slowly and then just was not there anymore.

We have told very few people about this over the years in fear. But if anyone else remembers seeing this in the Knoxville area around that time please note.
