Northwest in front of the foothills of the Santa Ana mountains, my wife and I were on our way to the supermarket when we witnessed five to 10 floating red lights that appeared to originate from the Santa Ana mountains.
We do not believe they are flares. Possibly hoaxers with floating chinese lanterns.
