Blue/Red cigar shaped object with three lights hovering in southern sky for 5 minutes

Cigar shaped blue and red object, 3 lights within the object in southern sky. No movement x 4 minutes.

Could not take picture, object would not appear in camera view finder.

Helicopter appeared coming from north, and the object disappeared.
