Location: Pinery Provincial Park (Canada), ON, Canada

Shape: Orb
Characteristics: Aura or haze around object

At approximately 10:30 pm, sitting on the beach at the Pinery Provincial Park on September 7, 2013 enjoying the night sky, two women, aged 55 (both university employees) witnessed four red/orange orbs flying north along the Lake Huron shoreline. One light appeared by itself, and then as it turned inland towards the park and disappeared into what was perceived as clouds, another appeared and flew in exactly the same path, turning inland a bit earlier than the first. The third turned in a bit earlier still but the fourth made a turn inland at approximately the same place as the first. All four followed each other in formation, approximately two minutes apart. There was no sound and the lights consistently glowed. They were flying at a constant speed, almost gliding. They appeared close enough to the ground that in daylight, it would have been obvious what they were. The night was partially cloudy and the stars were only visible as the clouds dissipated.
