Bright red hovering circular light near Ravenswood.

Driving along route 2 near ravenswood, spotted hovering bright red light above hillside near road. Pulled over and got out of car. Red light began moving quickly westward for a few minutes before shrinking and disappearing. Light also appeared to be flying at a low altitude and looked like a bright orange light with red halo around it.
