Fireball in the night sky

I was sitting on my porch looking to see the "supermoon" which was to appear this night , but it was cloudy and could not be seen.

Suddenly an orange-red glow appeared and was bright moving north to south.

I tried to get a picture but by the time I focused my camera phone, it disappeared.
