Hovering bright orange disapearing/reapearing orbs of light

I was working over at Estrella Mountain and these orbs of light appeared out of no where. They hovered over the neighborhood for about 20 minutes and disappeared. The second they disappeared they reappeared a few miles to the west of where I was. Then again disappeared and reappeared right where I first seen them but this time they were all in a straight line. My camera stopped working so I could only take one photo. I called a friend and the orbs could be seen as far as by the 101 and Indian school road.
