Characteristics: Lights on object, Left a trail, Emitted other objects

It seemed to be moving in a linear path but occasionally it moved laterally or another object was appearing.I assume it was something breaking up in the atmosphere but it was not like anything I've ever seen break up. I have some footage but it is only the second half of what we witnessed.
