Moved very fast and made no sound.

My father and i were comin home from a movie and wee see a red circle in the sky moving rapidly i thought it was a helicopter but there was no sound it was a dark red and moving very very fast it was on our atmosphere is what my father said he is a former worker for the pentagon.

The craft was in plain sight for 25 seconds or so and then just zoomed off to the east also looked like it was about to land.
