|Horizon moving orange light that totally vanishes after 30 seconds.
On 6-19-12 we saw a dark orange sphere while going for a walk. This object was not a perfect circle, but rather glowing without a perfect edge. I don't remeber how it started, but just remember seeing it straight across from where I was standing. This light was very bright and very distinct in the 11pm night sky. From my perspective it was about 2 inches above the horizon, and about 3/4 of a mile away. From my perspective this light object was about the size of my pinky fingernail. For about 30 seconds this object moved from left to right just above the horizon. It moved in a very straight line faster than a small airplane. In fact, about double the speed of a small airplane, given the above perspective. We both saw this at the same time, and both agreed this was something we couldn't really understand. After watching this light object in awe, it totally disappeared into the black cloudless night.
We excitedly continued to walk and talk about this for the next 15 minutes. All of the sudden, we see the same looking light the same distances away. It was sitting perfectly still as we tried to decipher its earthly name. We kept an eye on it as we walked a few minutes, and it starts to move from right to left. I couldn't believe what I was seeing. We had no feelings of fear, but rather excitement. After we passed a small tree, this object was nowhere to be found. We have never seen anything like this in our lives. For the record it was about 70-75* F , and there was a sight breeze. Also there was a feeling of electricity in the air that night.
