star-like lights zipp across the sky out of Aries.

i was looking at the Aries constellation when the a star started streaming across sky. but didnt get brighter or burn out. my husband and i watched it with the binoculars for about ten minutes one was rapidly changing blue red white??? It was like the stars were joy riding and then were gone.
