Location: Rosedale (Canada), BC
Duration:approx 5-6 minutes
|Sperical, orange, glowing, no smoke no flames traveling west to northeast
Sighting summer 2010 Reason for not reporting – no picture – but there were 3 witnesses known plus more in the area I do not know.
My Location: on my deck facing west with clear visibility to the northwest.
Visual: I managed to see it through my binos.
Direction: Object came from the westerly direction traveling northeast.
Altitude: object stayed at constant altitude throughout.
Speed seemingly consistent; did not seem to slow or speed up.
Shape spherical Color orange - glowing Looked at it through binoculars – NO smoke or shooting flames, but the surface seemed to be like molten lava rolling into itself.
Object continued along until obscured by buildings – my daughter and I ran out to road so we could see to the northeast. It continued at its elevation until out of sight.
Witness: While on the road a lady that walks her dogs also saw it. She mentioned some fellows up the road also witnessed (I don’t know who they were).
My Thoughts I always try to eliminate the obvious or disprove, rather than get too excited about something like this, but after seeing that there was no smoke, no flames and the object was not coming down as something on fire would – I became excited.
I did not report this as I had no picture – and felt ‘what’s the point’, until I heard your interview on Coast to Coast. My husband, when he heard your description, said to me, ‘there you go’.
I am happy you are there doing what you do – I don’t want to just report to anyone. I will, henceforth, write any sighting in a report for your information.
((NUFORC Note: Witness indicates that the date of the sighting is approximate. PD))
