brightly lit rectangle in the sky!

On the evening of January 15 2012 I observed an object traveling north, northeast. the object was rectangular in shape and was brightly lit ,red green lights. It was quite large , 30 feet long or more, as it traveled across the sky it then dipped, rose up and dipped again,

I called to my wife and son and they too saw it ,it traveled north and dipped once or twice more then got out of our sightline. All the while this was happening jet planes were also flying around this area we also witnessed several helicopters. The area im referring to is a suburb just west of Chicago Illinois.

After witnessing this I called the hotline and spoke to peter davenport.
