|Thousands of feet in the air, an uncountable amount of white lights interacted and dispersed for hours on end.
At Two AM I turned off my lights and got ready to go to sleep. Laying in bed, I observed what at first appeared to be embers of a fire drifting and swirling into the air through my natural fiber blinds. It seemed odd for the time and place, so I opened the blinds. Out of my West facing window, from a vantage point just miles from the East coast I noticed these "embers" did not fade, were white and changed course countless times in the general area.
I proceeded to go outside, and observed what seemed to be an uncountable number of these lights on only the West. They moved at an inconsistent speed, changing directions on a whim. Sometimes they would appear to move vertically at high rates of speed, while other times they entangled themselves in somewhat of a shared dance between two. Mostly however they moved relatively horizontal, again at inconsistent speeds.
For hours I watched, and while I entertained the idea of capturing this on my camera phone, I knew it would have been futile. These objects were noticeably dimmer than any stars in the sky, half to even a quarter of a stars vibrancy. They were noticeably thousands of feet high, and I am in an area with no fireflies. The light was a dim white, their paths remained constant when I purposefully changed views to ensure it was not a slight of the eye.
