Location: Glen St. Mary, FL
Shape: Teardrop
Duration:40 seconds
In a cloudless blue sky a large white teardrop to triangular shaped object appeared, disappeared, reappeared then disappeared again.

I am a professional working in the local schools. I have a Masters degree.

This is not something that I would ever have anticipated doing as it would not occur to me that there was even a site to report "UFO"s. In other words, I've not been one to seek out flying objects in the sky except for meteor showers. My religion does not account for aliens or UFOs and frankly, I would be laughed out of my town if they were to find out that I am reporting a sighting.

I was returning home from my small town bordering south Georgia when traveling north towards the Georgia line, I happend to look up into the beautiful cloudless blue sky and there on the north northwestern sky, I saw what I initially thought to be a wispy cloud which immediately vaporized.

Thinking this odd, but cool, I was amazed when it reappeared in the same location but this time it looked, upon closer inspection to be a huge flock of white birds. I soon realized that it couldn't possibly be birds as the bird-like objects were giving off a metallic shine, appeared stuck into a shape, were not moving independently and the thing suddenly disappeared again.

I pulled over on the side of the road and parked my car so as not to wreck. The object reappeared again and this time I was able to see that connecting the hundreds of bird-like shapes, was an almost invisible tear-drop or triangular shaped substance which appeared to be moving and reflecting the sun. It reminded me of items placed in clear jello or glued to celophane. Understand that this was not a flock of birds in the traditional V shaped formation. This was a flock of hundreds of bird or boomorang shaped objects forming a white tear-drop, which suddenly appeared in a clear sky, disappeared then reappeared and disappeared again.

I have always been a nature and sky watcher, but in 50 years have never seen anything that I couldn't explain.
