Location: Whitchurch (Buckinghamshire) (UK/England),
Returning home with a friend after visiting another friends new house in Aylesbury. Instead of travelling the usual way home, I decided to add a couple of miles to the journey and passed down a narrow lane perhaps less than 1/2 mile away from Whitchurch. We'd just driven past a large corrugated barn with a red tractor parked outside when my friend in the passenger seat noticed a blue/grey disk to his left. I also saw this as soon as he pointed it out, and I parked my car up on the side of the lane and we both got out.
The disk was slate grey in colour and roughly one mile away, perhaps at an altitude of 1500 ft. For the full space of time we watched the disk it moved westward at a slow pace (100 kn?). The object itself was not remarkably proportioned, just the size of a typical Cessna prop. aircraft. After a few minutes the disk had moved too far away for us to see properly. That is all we saw.
