Fireball in the sky

I was out fishing on big cedar lake in west bend tonight (8/6/10)and at about 9:30pm give or take. i witnessed a fire ball in the sky. It came from the east and appered to go straight up then head in the west drection before dying out more then half way through the sky.

It probably last 45 to 60 seconds and was bright orange in color.

Did anyone else see this and was it a meteorite or something else?
