Bright White Cigar Shaped Craft Hovered Near Bisti and Took Off, Left No Trace.

We were traveling north on 371 near Bisti Badlands in San Juan County at 10:34pm when we seen a bright white cigar shape craft about 100 yds off the east side of the road. We slowed down and the craft took off very quickly. It shot up very quickly upward and left no trace. It was like it disappeared and left no trace in the sky. There were no traffic and we parked on the side of the road for about 15 mins. A car stopped and we talked to them about what we seen.
