Violet, hexagon shaped, just flew over

It was hexagonal shaped, violet with yellow markings, had lights at the front; about the same speed and height as a commercial passenger jet. made the same noise as well. yellow lights underneath: the base was divided into metallic squares and there was light from those squares (although it could have been reflected sunlight) and it was flying westwards. looked a bit flimsy (?)
