Unknown stationary shiny sphere

On thursday may 19 2005 approximitly 0600 , We all witness a silver shiny sphere about NW of the airport. The object seemed to be stationary and spinning.This phenomena was witness by rental car employees showing up for work.we were later told that it could have been a weather ballon,We never found out if it was or not.
