bright orange light glowing through the kitchen window

My alarm went off at 3:30am, I got out of bed and switched the alarm off.

The house was dark (no lights on) and suddenly a bright orange light came through my kitchen window glowing through the kitchen into the dining room.

This lasted a mere 3-5 seconds and disappeared before I could move.
