brilliant white light flashing on and off at perfect intervals.

i watched a brilliant white light flash on and off in 2 sec. intravels, and then it stopped.it was approx.100 to 200yds. of the ground.

it stayed still during this time.sky was clear,no clouds what so ever.you could see the stars,and this light was about the size of a basketball from my position standing on the ground.there was no sound at all. there were no other color lights around it.
