3 of us were standing out on my deck halloween nite. we were talking about telescopes. I started to point at a star in the clear nite sky. All 3 of us looked at this "star" - I saw it move just slighty to my right or west, then stop and get very bright. the brighteness lasted for just a few seconds then begin to dim or decrease in brightness and then this object or light rmoved directly away very fast and get dimmer down to nothing in about 3-5 seconds and then was gone. we all looked at each other and said what the hell was that.
