| Low Hum ,Dead Grass I was awakened by a low humming sound.The sound was real low in pitch almost subsonic, below 20hz.It sounded like a great power hum of some kind.Then i heard a whirring sound that was higher in pitch.It sounded like something was spining or rotating.I woke up my wife & asked if she had heard it or was i going nuts? She said it sounds like something is spining.After sitting on the edge of the bed for 1/2 hr. with a loaded shotgun we finally fell asleep.The next day there was a 15in. diameter circle of dead, flat yellow grass in my front yard ((NUFORC Note: We would like to correspond with the witness who submitted this report, but he elects to remain totally anonymous, and provides no contact information.
