saw a slow, low flying silver disk around 10 AM .

I decided to post this after reading through other sighting reports and not reading daylight observations. I have a 4 year college degree (crammed into 5 1/2 years of school) and I work with a local school. I was driving to the Hoh Rain Forest with my fiance and cousin (not the same person, LOL). It was about 10 AM with a clear blue sky when I turned off Hwy 101 to go up the Hoh. I was looking at the tops of the trees when I saw a silver disk about 100 yards away just above tree top level. It was moving very slow in the opposite direction (east to west). The sun reflected off the craft. It was a silver disk with a round dome on top and bottom. The top dome was bigger than the bottom one. My guess is that it was maybe 30 feet wide. I watched it for a few seconds (ten at the most) before I lost sight of it through the trees. I though about stopping to get out but I thought that I'd be able to get a better vantage point and look down across the area from a clear cut (logged off area). One never came up. We stopped at a store about 15 minutes up the road. When we got out of the car, two low flying military jets flew over head in the direction we had just come from. When I saw it, I couldn't believe what I was seeing. At first I told myself it was an airplane but there were no wings. It just didn't belong in the picture. My fiance (now wife) and cousin did not see it. They noticed that I was looking at something as I drove but they told me that they figured I was looking at a bird or something. I didn't say anything to them until afterward ("I just saw a flying saucer.") because I wasn't sure of what I was looking at. I know it was a flying saucer but I couldn't say if it was one of ours or theirs.
