Bright white flash lasting only 2 seconds.

At around 11:15 a bright white flash was seen over Hamilton. From the black night sky to the flash and back to the black sky again, it last no more than 2 seconds. at the time of the flash, I noticed many rounded off rectangles. I would also like to add that there was no sound. I was later seen again in a different portion of the sky about 5 minutes afterwards.
