Dancing in the sky...

I saw all these lights in the sky, about the color of orange or yellow. They were gliding silently in the shape of a V, the way birds do. The little lights then moved around to form a circle, still gliding across the sky, then back into a giant V. It must have been the area of a football field or two. Started at SW and headed NW. The lights began to dim out and it eventually just dissapered into the clear night sky. Never saw anything like it. EVER! It almost looked like it had a dark shadow around it, like perhaps it was just a giant ship with lights on it that moved around, or maybe it was just a bunch of them separate. The lights were literally dancing in the sky. There were two planes in the sky that were flying in the opposite direction, but were going very slow comparred to the unidentified flying object(s).
