| Looking to the direct west, not very high above the horizon, I saw what I first thought to be an airplane, with its lights flashing. After watching it for 20 - 30 minutes I realized that it was barely moving at all. It appeared to be a mixture of red, green and white lights, flashing independent of each other. With binoculars I could more easily see the separate lights flashing. I suppose it could be a planet, but its flashing colors are unlike any of the other planets and stars in the sky.
