I was coming home from a friend's house, then saw a triangle.

I was coming home from a friend's house at about 11:40(this was when I was nearing my neighborhood) and noticed a low-flying helicopter coming from the south, and flying over my neighborhood. This helicopter had placed itself over some treetops near the intersection where I turn to get onto my block. As I neared it, I noticed it seemed to not be a helicopter at all, as it had three lights equally spaced around a less brightly lit center with a small row of red lights flashing one after the other from outside to the inside of the bottom surface. As I turned to go to my house, it slid silently over my truck(which freaked me badly, because by this time the realization was just setting in that this was no helicopter). I nearly missed my turn into my driveway, had to reverse, to turn in (a three point turn gone horribly wrong), and as I got out and looked up, I found that it had vanished.
