|A substantial flash of light in the sky. It appeared to be as small as an aircraft beacon at first, but immediatly became larger, then vanished. It could have been as many as three simaltanious fireballs overlapping.
I live on the northern side of Mt. Vista. The event was observed in the North-Western sky. In comparison to Hale-Bop, it was much larger and brighter.
