NUFORC frequently receives queries regarding what we believe are some of the most interesting, potentially UFO-related, cases and sighting reports that our Center has received in recent years.  Here is a short list of what we consider to be some of the more dramatic, and/or more well documented, cases that have been reported to us over the last decade. We emphasize that there is nothing special about the cases shown in this document. They are simply a product of subjective assessment regarding those cases which we believe deserve special consideration by the reader.  This list was first prepared to serve as a handout to supplement the information discussed during public presentations by Peter Davenport, current Director of NUFORC. It was updated most recently for the 41st Annual National UFO Conference, held in Hollywood, CA, on October 30-31, 2004.  We believe the list will help visitors to our website in searching for the most interesting cases among the approximately 32,000 cases now posted in our database of sighting reports. In some instances, the cases cited in this document are supplemented by additional reports submitted by other witnesses to the same event.
